Beginning Fall 2019, first year students enrolled in the TCNJ Honors Program will be housed in Norsworthy Hall. This three story hall was built in 1932 and is one of the smallest and most intimate residential communities on campus. Norsworthy Hall (affectionately called “Nors”) underwent an extensive renovation in 2014-2015. It has an intimate first floor common area that opens to a patio, a lower level game room and kitchen, and a study room. The entire building has new flooring and walls, redesigned bathrooms, laundry rooms, and furniture. Nors houses approximately 150 students in traditional doubles and singles with communal bathrooms on each floor. Because of the building’s age, most rooms have a unique layout, particularly the rooms on the third floor, which offer dormer ceilings and window alcoves.
In addition to serving and first year housing for Honors students, Norsworthy hall houses some sophomores. Because of this, Honors students have the option of being in Honors housing their second year.
